ETTA Individual Membership

This page will be used to provide regular updates on how the Colchester League proposes to manage the forthcoming change to player affiliation with the introduction of Individual Membership by the ETTA.

21st April-10

At the Leagues AGM on the 21st April members asked what stage had the implementation reached. Chairman John Andrews advised that information was available on the ETTA website and the League would arrange to provide a link on the home page of the League website. He recommended that all members should read the existing information and check regularly for updates.

He also advised that since the Leagues AGM was quite early when compared to others, for the moment no new rules had been proposed to deal with the introduction of Individual Membership. It was agreed at Committee that we should wait for further guidance from the ETTA and either call a SGM to introduce new rules or work with existing rules with a key one being that all fees should be received by 1st October each year.

The Chairman stressed that if any club or league member had any questions on Individual Membership he was more than happy to take those questions.
